Visiting exhibitions and other galleries when we travel is a source of great inspiration for the Subject Matter team and our most recent trip to the Galleria Tre Oci in Venice was truly exciting. The gallery was showing the work of René Burri and Ferdinando Scianna; both members of the prestigious Magnum photographic agency.  (more…)

SUBJECT MATTER VISITS: THE NEW MUSEUM OF LONDON SITE

We  were privileged to explore the site where the new Museum of London is to be built, at the western end of Smithfield Market.

The architects (Stanton Williams and Asif Khan) have been chosen, their ideas sketched out – to create a museum for a city that has been at the epicentre of trade, culture and the arts for centuries.  (more…)
